WSOP 2008 Main Event, Day 4: Vos Towers his Chips

At the end of Day 4 at the 2008 WSOP Main Event Mark Vos is sitting in a nice position on the leader board. When play was finished for the day he was sitting in 19th place out of the remaining 189 players left in the tournament. David Saab, who was sitting in second place for a fair amount of time throughout the day slipped backwards to be in the middle of the pack. Tony Clark is below the average chip stack and Hai Bo Chu is the shortstack of the tournament and will need a lot of luck from here to progress much further. Here is how they finished up for the day:

Mark Vos – 1,373,000
David Saab – 776,000
Tony Clark – 397,000
Hai Bo Chu- 100,000

Throughout the say the tournament officials were keeping an eye on Vos’ excessively large stacks of chips. They have even implemented the ‘Mark Vos’ rule where players can only stack their chips to a certain height. Mark was also buying rounds of drinks for the players at the table, getting into the true Aussie spirit. Best of luck to the Australian poker players as the continue their run to the final table.
