WSOP 2008 Main Event, Day 3: Vos Leads the Aussies

Australian poker professional Mark Vos is the pick of the Aussie contingent in the 2008 WSOP Main Event. He finished the day with 468,000 chips and in a solid position on the leaderboard. His biggest hand of the day was when he check-called down bets from his opponent on a 10 6 6 10 x board. Vos had pocket kings to take the pot down and cement his place as a force to be reckoned with.

There are still a few Australian poker players still left in the event. Here is a round up of the Aussies still left:

-T6 pro Tino Lechich has 211,500 chips.
-APPT Sydney 2007 Final Table player Peter Ling has 294,500.
- Hai Bo Chu has a very solid chip stack of 453,500.
- David Saab will resume on Day 4 with 321,500.
- Gold Coast’s Tony Clark has 204,500
- Mark Vos of course has 468,000

As Day 4 of the 2008 WSOP Main Event begins the field becomes smaller and smaller. Pokershark.com.au will be following the action even more closely as the descend towards the Final Table begins. We will be providing readers with live updates on how the remaining Australian poker players are performing along with their chip stacks.

Again, the team at Pokershark would like to wish the remaining Aussies the best of luck for the rest of the tournament.
