Australia’s own Joe Hachem has finished deep in the $1500 HORSE event at the 2008 WSOP. Event #51 proved Hachem’s game is not just limited to the Hold ‘em arena. The Aussie busted out just before play concluded at the end of day 2. Hachem received $6686 for finishing in 24th place.
Phil Hellmuth was the chip leader at the beginning of day 2, and that is how he finished the day as well. He consolidated his position in the tournament by leading the final 20 players into day 3. Other notable players left in the tournament include Jens Voertmann and Keith Sexton.
Congratulations to Aussie Joe Hachem, the team at pokershark.com.au wish you the best of luck in the upcoming 2008 WSOP Main Event.
