WSOP 2008 Begins

The 2008 WSOP is now upon us and the big hitters have arrived in Las Vegas. The 2008 WSOP will comprise of 55 events from May 30 through to July 7.The first event on the cards is the $10 000 buy-in World Championship Pot Limit Hold ‘em.

This year we will see yet another record amount of entries in the Main Event, with more entries in the side events expected as well. The 50k HORSE event, which many players believe is a better guide to who the best player in the world is, will be played on June 21.
