You can create your own character and then perform a wide variety of emotions and actions at the table. You can laugh at people, say “nice hand” and even call them a loser. There are a number of different ways to view the poker table. You can have a static view in different positions or you can have a dynamic view. The dynamic view follows the play around and focuses on the player whose turn it is to act. A lot of detail has gone into making this software and you will either love it or hate it. You can do tricks with your chips, and even stand up when you go all in. If you are a serious multi-table grinder then this is most likely not for you. But if you want to have a bit more fun while playing poker online, then PKR definitely provides a unique experience for all. The promotions at PKR are almost non-existent. They provide a very limited range of satellites to land based events and they aren’t currently offering any promotions that are unique in any way. The daily schedule of tournaments here is competitive, considering the lower level of traffic. The tourneys run regularly enough that at most times there will be something to play in. However, there isn’t a great deal of variety and selection and you might just have to play in what is currently available.

Overall, the tournaments aren’t a highlight of this room, but they do provide some decent ones. Pick your tournaments well and they are really enjoyable to play in.

The Traffic at PKR is below the industry standard. There isn’t a great deal of players around, so you will have to choose the time that you play at wisely. You won’t be getting a large amount of entries into the tournaments but they do still run pretty regularly.

If you do choose to play in off-peak time, which is in Aussie prime time, there will still be cash tables open. With PKR you won’t be multi-tabling a great deal anyway, but there is usually at least 2-3 tables available at the low-mid range blinds at most times of the day.

The traffic is increasing at PKR because of the unique experience they provide players with. In the coming months, you will see the amount of players continue to increase. The traffic will only get better from here.

The level of play at PKR would have to be in the top 5 for the worst standard. The standard of play here is laughable. Maybe it’s because less hands are played per hour because of the software, but they are aggressive and you will see countless times some woeful poker. I increased my bankroll here by 1500% and that was only over 2 days. I have seen players go all in against me pre-flop with 8 5 off suit. Yes, the level of play here is really that bad.

I had a lot of success at PKR due to m ability to read their plays. They make it very obvious what they are trying to do, and you can easily punish them. If you are playing the low to mid range limits, you will find that there are a lot of fish swimming around. Once you hit the $3/$6 blinds the competition starts to toughen up, although it is still pretty bad. You will still occasionally see people calling down bets with Queen high playing at those limits.

Overall, this place is an ocean full of fish and you can make easy reads. Play sensibly and read the games well and you should be able to increase your bankroll quite considerably.
