Main Event Day 4, First Break Update: Aussies on a Roll

The first session of the action on Day 4 of the 2008 WSOP MainEvent has proved a fruitful one for the Australian poker players. Below is a quick summary of the Aussies still left:

- Mark Vos is steaming ahead and now sits on 735,000. he won a big hand early on with AA vs AK and then with AK vs AQ.

- Gold Coast’s Tony Clark, who won his seat for free from a pub poker league is living his time at the WSOP and is cruising ahead on 645,000 chips.

- David Saab made a late double up when his AK vs KJ held up to put him on 480,000

- Hai Bo Chu is up to 365,000

- Peter Ling has dropped down to 200,000

Early signs look good for the Aussies. Let’s hope the rest of the day is as rewarding as the first session.
