FTOPS VIII Event #3 – $535 NLHE Shootout

Event #3 of FTOPS VIII is over and the winner took home $76 545. Player “BOP B 3AKOHE 1″ was the player to win this NLHE shootout event. The buy-in was $535 and the 729 players competed in the shootout for a prize pool of $364 500.

Players competed in the triple shootout in which the winner of each 9 player table progressed. The field was reduced to 81 players after the first shootout, with all of these players making the money. After the 2nd shootout, the final table was decided. BOP B 3AKOHE 1 proved too strong on the final table and he took the event down.

David Pham hosted the event but could only manage 373rd place. The best of the Full Tilt pros was Erick Lindgren who finished in 46th place. Other notable finishes include Mike Matusow’s 70th place and Australia’s own Mark Vos who finished in 93rd place.
