FTOPS VIII Event #1 – $216 Hold ‘em 6-max

FTOPS VIII has kicked off and what a great start to the series it was. The first event was a NL Hold ‘em 6-max tourney. There was 750k guaranteed and that figure was exceeded by over 80k. The $216 buy-in provided a prize pool of $831 600 with 4158 players. Players were all vying for the prize of a little over 158k.

In an event that lasted for a touch over 9 hours, the eventual winner was “the guru 11″. He took home the cash and the bracelet in an event that was exciting to watch. Full Tilt pro David Chiu hosted the event but could only manage 2956th place.
