One of the best ways to get good value for money in online poker tournaments is to play in the rebuy format. For Australian poker players the best time to play in these is in the early morning. This particular poker tournament is on at 10am AEDT and there are plenty of others on around the same time. Whether you rebuy or not, the return in these tourneys can be substantial, with the prize pool growing to over 50k for the players. You can see a full list of what is available on the PokerStars official website

The $65 000 Guaranteed tournament on Full Tilt is great for online poker players in Australia. With a starting time of 10am AEST it is almost perfect for those that don’t have to go to work. This tournament has a $150 + $13 buy-in and offers a great chance for some serious money to be made. If you can’t wait until the early hours of Monday morning for a big tourney, than this one is for you. 1st place gets paid over 16k, make it to the final three and you won’t leave with less than 7.4k.

The tournament gives you 3000 chips to start with, double the normal 1500. There is a regular blind structure of 15 minute blinds. The tournament has a mixed variety of skill levels and you have every opportunity to do well. A must see for the serious tourney player.

Starting at 4am AEST this PokerStars tourney is one for those who like to stay up late or get up early. I like the events with 1 rebuy and 1 add on because its played a lot like a regular tourney but with more prize money on offer. I played in this tourney last week and won $4077. It was not overly difficult, and the final 3 players i was against were especially soft.

There are normally about 450 entrants in this tourney and you will find that it won’t go for a very long period of time. You will start with 1500 chips unless you rebuy at the start and the blind structure is standard. These tourney structures at PokerStars are becoming more popular and I can fully understand why. Definitely well worth the look.

Poker Stars has the best morning tournament schedule in online poker today. One of the better tournaments available to players is the $55 buy-in, 50k Gtd. The tournament starts at 10:30am AEST which is not too early. The tournament usually has about 1100 entries and takes about 7 hours to complete. Not a bad pay day if you collect first prize which will give you over 10k on most occasions for first place.

You will receive 3000 starting chips at the start of the tournament. The blinds increase every 15 minutes and you will find the tourney progresses nicely. On Friday May 2, player “zaratin” from the Gold Coast finished in second place. Well done to him and good luck to everyone that competes in this tourney. PokerStars Review

This tournament is ideal for Australian poker players. The tournament starts at 7pm AEST and has a guaranteed prize pool of $7500. 1st prize is a guaranteed $3000 USD, and the tournament will finish at a reasonable time so you shouldn’t have any time issues.

This tournament is specifically aimed at Aussie poker players. It offers a great guarantee of $7500 which is hard to find amongst poker rooms at this time. The competition at Hollywood Poker is known to be weak, so you can win some nice cash and at the same time be able to go to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Take advantage of a tournament that is designed to cater to our needs.

If you are up late at night and are looking for a tourney to play in, then this is a one of the best options. With 3000 starting chips and a nice blind structure, it is a solid tourney. It usually gets to over 25k in the prize pool and 1st place pays almost 5k. The competition seems to be slightly weaker than a lot of other tourneys on PokerStars.

With over 1300 entries, and the starting time of 2am EST, it can be a very late night/early morning finish if you go deep. Overall though if you work unusual hours, or happen to be up I think you will be presently surprised at the great value this tourney offers.
